During the last few months Nera has left me alone in the woods couple of times. Her instict to forest animals has raised and she has become an real little "hunter". In my parentsplace it doesnt really matter cause theres no cars, no other people, but in the citys.. its just not acceptable.
To let Nera feel the freedom but still to be able to control her and be in charge i bought us this 15m long trainingleash.
When i let her go I use the same commands that i would use if she would be free. I make her come to me once in a while and also reward from that. Like i normally would do.
So far ive been very happy with the leash and already once stopped her from running away from me.
Id love to let her run around free but the leash is better than loosing her forever. Maybe someday we'll get rid of the bad habit but the day is certainly not in the nearest future. Love her too much to let anything bad happen to her!
